The Records Bureau is at the hub of the collection, distribution and filing of various types of paperwork and records within the Police Department.  On a daily basis the records clerks are responsible for the filing of all the paperwork generated by the Collingswood Park Police Department. The paperwork includes but is not limited to accident reports, incident reports, initial investigation reports, motor vehicle summons and arrest reports.

Requesting / Receiving a Report:
You can request a report online or via phone by contacting the Records Clerk.  Copies will only be given out in person during normal business hours, with the exception of Motor Vehicle Accidents.  For your convenience, motor vehicles reports are available online through Lexis Nexis (https://policereports.lexisnexis.com)

Vehicle Release
A vehicle release form must be obtained at the Police Department, and you will need the following:

  • A valid driver’s license (If you do not possess a valid driver’s license, you will need 2 licensed drivers with you in order to be granted a vehicle release from the police department.
  • Valid vehicle registration
  • Proof of insurance
  • $35 Administrative fee - Check or Money Order payable to Borough of Collingswood Payment.
