"Oh, the thinks that you think!" during the summer months last the whole year long. Journey to Whoville with Collingswood Community Theatre as they announce their fantastical, magical family musical, Seussical. Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Slaherty (Once On This Island, Ragtime), have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination - Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Horton the elephant, Jojo, a misfit Who, Gertrude McFuzz and lasy Mayzie are just a few of the characters who adventure through the world and finally find what they seek - their places in the world. Perfect for the entire family - young and old alike.
The show will be performed July 11, 12, 13 at 7:30pm with a 1pm matinee on July 13 in the Grand Ballroom at the Scottish Rite, 315 White Horse Pike, Collingswood 08107.
