All playgrounds and public bathrooms have been closed. Park locations will remain open as outdoor-only facilities during regular operating hours. 

Effective March 17, 2020, Collingswood Borough Hall offices will be closed to the public and doing business by appointment only in an effort to protect employees and the public and to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the community. Collingswood Police Department will be ceasing some normal operations, including closing the front desk and walk-up services. This closure will impact services normally available Monday through Friday from 8-4. The impacted services and further instructions can be found below:
- FINGERPRINTING: These services have been temporarily suspended
- BLOCK PARTIES: Temporarily suspended

- FIREARMS PERMIT APPLICATION: Individuals wishing to apply for a Firearms Identification Card or Handgun Purchase Permit, please go to

- TEMPORARY HANDICAPPED PLACARD: To apply for a temporary parking placard, please download and complete the Temporary Placard Application. Once completed, send the form, along with a $4 check made payable to NJ MVC to police headquarters (735 N. Atlantic Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108). The application form can be found at

Collingswood Police Department, Fire Department and Department of Public Works will continue operations as usual. Trash pick-up and recycling will continue following normal schedule.

-Public parks are open but playgrounds are closed to the public
-All Collingswood events and festivals are canceled until at least April 30
-Upcoming Commission meeting (April 6) and Zoning (April 1) boards will be held at the Collingswood Community Center (30 W Collings Ave). See the regular meeting schedule here.
