Camden County Parks

Knight Park is more than 60 acres of public park given to the Trustees of Knight Park in 1893 by the family of Edward C. Knight. Collingswood public schools, the Little League, soccer and other sports use the park. The Borough also uses the park for many of its recreational activities. Any group desiring to use the park should apply for the necessary permit. Permits may be obtained by calling Carol Sickler at 856-854-0720 x125. Please apply for permits at least one month before your event.
Cooper River Park
Cooper River Park (346.55 acres) runs through Collingswood, Pennsauken, Cherry Hill and Haddon Township. The park is bounded by North and South Park Drives, Route 130 and Grove Street. It is maintained by the Camden County Department of Parks & Recreation. The Collingswood side of the river offers a more scenic view and relaxing activities.

1 Bike Path - 3.8 mile loop (Cuthbert to Rt. 130)

4 Volleyball Courts
1 Miniature Golf Course
1 Boat launch - for trailer & car-top boats. (No gas motors).
Jack Curtis Stadium
1 1/4 mile Cinder Track
4 Picnic Areas - (including Wallenberg, Armitage, and Subaru Pavilions)
Indoor Rest Rooms at Stadium - open year round (10am - 10pm)
1 Memorial Grove
Newton Lake Park
Newton Lake Park (103.39 acres) runs through Collingswood, Oaklyn and Haddon Township and is bounded by Cuthbert Boulevard and the White Horse Pike. It is well maintained by the Camden County Parks and Recreation Department. The park includes the following attractions:
3 Picnic Areas - Lees Lane, Lees Lane Pavilion and Collingswood playground
Bike Paths - 2.25 miles
Cuthbert to Lees Lane - .39 miles
Lees Lane to Cuthbert - .40 miles
Total Loop - .79 miles
Lees Lane to Bettlewood - .46 miles
Bettlewood to Lees Lane - .46 miles
