Shopping local already comes with environmental benefits. By supporting businesses who are taking the steps to incorporate sustainable practices in their everyday operations, you can make an even bigger impact both locally and globally. 

The Collingswood Green Team has created and promoted the Green Business Alliance to assist businesses in achieving greater sustainability practices. Businesses can get certified as a member of the Green Business Alliance by adhering to the following Core Greening Principles:  

  • SUSTAINABLE FOOD PRACTICES 
  • WASTE & POLLUTION REDUCTION 
  • WATER CONSERVATION 
  • ENERGY EFFICIENCY 
  • EMPLOYEE WELLNESS
Businesses can obtain up to three levels of certification, with level 3 being the highest commitment to sustainability. The following businesses have already been certified:

Revolution Coffee Roasters- Level 3
Songbird Karaoke- Level 1
